Manager Core Banking Program- Compliance

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of all changes to Compliance processes driven by the implementation or upgradation of Oracle Flexcube, ensuring configurations align with new core banking functionalities.
  • Work closely with the Oracle Flexcube implementation team to identify, analyse, and address processes integration from compliance perspective.
  • Manage Compliance related configurations to adapt to changes in products, country specific regulatory/Local requirements, and business reporting needs.
  • Develop and execute testing plans, including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), for all products and processes impacted by the Flexcube implementation.
  • Develop/review of test cases related to various product & processes. 
  • Validate data flows between Oracle Flexcube, Retail corporate channels and surround systems, ensuring accurate mapping, transformation, and reconciliation
  • Identify the data quality issues in the existing system and initiate necessary measures involving relevant stakeholder to ensure this is getting addressed in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure digital journey and the system integrations and fully integrated, resilient. Exception process is defined, and SOPs are in place.
  • Collaborate with different tech teams for required integration optimisation, adopt to better method of integration.
  • Act as the key liaison between the IT, Neo, Islamic Banking, Treasury, Corporate Banking and Financial Institutions, Business Banking, Personal Banking, Digital, Mortgages, and Oracle implementation teams for all Compliance function changes.
  • Provide regular updates to Compliances Lead and assist to update the Project Steering Committee on progress, risks, delays and key milestones related to Compliances.
  • Deliver training and knowledge-sharing sessions to Compliances team members on the use of Oracle Flexcube.
  • Lead gap analysis sessions for Compliances functionalities and identify resolution strategies.
  • Design and provide Compliance specific configurations within Oracle Flexcube, Channels and surround systems. Ensuring technical & Functional alignment including local regulatory requirements.
  • Execute data migration activities, ensuring accurate transfer of data successfully.
  • Support the system implementation team from Compliances related MIS reports covering Compliances, regulatory, compliance, legal.
  • Identify solution for key pain areas of existing integration and ensure the resolution are implemented based on the priorities. 
  • Develop/review BRD/FSD and provide necessary signoff from Compliances.
  • Represent Compliances in the working group of the program and assist in program progress update to Compliances senior management. 
  • Adhere to Banks governance process is followed and documented. 
  • Ensure department SOPs are created/Modified based on new system implementation. 
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of the upgrade program, including project plans, timelines, budgets, and technical specifications related to Compliances.

Qualifications

Education & Certifications

  • Post Graduation /Engineering. 

Experience

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in Banking space, with at least 5 years in system implementation support. 
  • Hands on experience in implementing core banking systems, particularly integrating IBG systems with Oracle Flexcube.
  • Experience in requirements management, Gap analysis and solutioning.

Technical Skills

  • Experience in Oracle Flexcube configurations related to Compliance processes. 
  • Proven hands-on track record of successful system integrations and data migrations

Behavioural Skills

Director, Leveraged & Acquisition Finance

Responsibilities

Structuring

  • Closely working with internal (origination team and relationship & risk management) and external (bank customers/counter-party banks & legal counsels) to structure deals meeting the requirement of all the parties.
  • Fronting discussions with internal stakeholders, including senior management, risk management as well as other operational teams
  • Putting together structures (viz term sheets) that make a transaction bankable, which are executable within reasonable timelines and meet client requirements.

Execution

  • Closely working with external (client, participating banks & external legal counsels) and internal (documentation, legal, relationship & risk teams) for successful execution of facility agreement within the overall parameters & timelines

Other Areas

  • Supporting the origination team on deal origination efforts. 
  • Handling & managing post-closing matters, on a need basis, such as covenant compliance, condition subsequent, special client requirements, or one-off amendment processes 

Qualifications

  • 10-14 years or more experience in Investment Banking or Structured Finance.
  • Previous experience of working on multi-bank transactions 
  • Strong credit, legal knowledge, and marketing skills are mandatory.
