Job Summary:
The Director of Strategic Initiatives & Product Management will serve as a senior leader and trusted partner to the Chief Data & Analytics Officer (CDAO), responsible for shaping and executing the long-term growth of the group. This leader will drive a portfolio of high-impact, cross-functional initiatives or products that accelerate the data led transformation of PureHealth.
The ideal candidate is a strategic operator who can translate vision into action, orchestrate alignment across functions, and manage a diverse mix of data and analytics products and strategic initiatives.
This role is pivotal in bridging strategy, execution, and impact within the CDAO. The Director ensures that the organization not only invests in data and analytics but also turns them into strategic assets that drive measurable value for patients, members, and the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Partner with the CDAO to define and operationalize the data and analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals and transformation priorities.
- Lead a small, high-performing team responsible for the design, execution, and governance of strategic initiatives and product portfolio.
Product Management
- Establish and oversee a data and analytics product management discipline, ensuring business needs are met through clear product roadmaps, measurable outcomes, and value tracking.
- Collaborate with Data Analytics, Data Engineering, and Value Creation teams to design and deliver analytics products that improve clinical, operational, and financial performance.
- Champion user-centric design and agile delivery for analytics products and platforms.
Strategic Initiatives & Execution

Experience Requirements:

Role Overview:
We are seeking an Associate Director – Data Platform & Operations to lead the strategy, design, and delivery of our hybrid enterprise data platform. This platform powers AI, Data Engineering, BI, and Analytics functions across the organization. The role requires both strategic vision and hands-on expertise in hybrid cloud/on-premises architectures, big data frameworks, and operational analytics engines.
You will ensure the platform is secure, scalable, observable, cost-efficient, and enables self-service for downstream teams. You will also drive DevOps and DataOps best practices, automation, and operational excellence across the platform landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership
- Architect, manage, and optimize hybrid infrastructure (Azure, OpenShift, VAST on-prem storage).
- Orchestrate services with Kubernetes/OpenShift for resilience, scalability, and efficiency.
- Integrate Apache Spark, Kafka, Delta Lake, Parquet, and SingleStore for batch and streaming workloads.
